The Super Bowl was very eventful, both on and off the field. Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively were a part of it all, and while the Deadpool actor didn’t appear in person, he was featured in the trailer for his third movie about the merc with a mouth. Reynolds also joked with his wife on Instagram, and fans were quick to join in on the fun.

Fans Joked With Ryan Reynolds

Ryan Reynolds joked on Instagram, asking if anyone had seen the Deadpool trailer or his wife. This happened while the trailer was shown as one of the Super Bowl ads, and Blake Lively was in the crowds sitting next to Taylor Swift. Naturally, this meant that everyone had seen the trailer and Reynolds’ wife, who was chatting and gossiping with Swift with a camera pointed at the two.

Shots of Lively and Swift went viral quickly, and fans were amused by the expressions they pulled as the Kansas City Chiefs took on the San Francisco 49ers. Reynolds also shared a photo of himself next to a TV screen with Deadpool on it, possibly joking about how he was left alone. Fans quickly made some comments about it. One said Lively was Swift’s wife for the night, while others joked that she was at an Usher concert where Taylor’s boyfriend was playing football.

Reynolds Wasn’t at the Super Bowl

The jokes didn’t stop there, with one fan pointing out that Ryan Reynolds was feeling FOMO, or the fear of missing out, as the actor wasn’t present at the biggest sports event in the US.

The third Deadpool movie with Ryan Reynolds will be released soon, and it will also star Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, something that fans have long been waiting for. Jackman also has a big role in the marketing for Deadpool 3 after it became clear he would reprise his role despite previously stating that he wasn’t going to do it again.
